Door Supervision Level 2 Award

Who is it for?

Under the Private Security Industry Authority Act 2001, all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry must undertake a recognised qualification before applying for a licence.

This means that any person wishing to work as a Door Supervisor, SIA event staff, Security Guard, Security Response Driver or even Retail Security will need to attend an approved course before being able to apply for an SIA licence.

Applicants will be asked for a number of things to support their application; including supporting identification documents, proof of a successful pass of an approved course,fully completed application form and must be able to meet the required criteria of a Criminal Record check.

There is an eliment of home study / distance learng involved with this course. each module also has a multiple choice examination at the end, and there is also scenario based learning outcomes that must be met too, to achieve a pass. the course is run over 6 days.
